Barbara Irene Havlin, 70, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2025, at her home in Trenton, GA.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Barbara will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home. Following the service, Barbara will be laid to rest at Poplar Springs Cemetery.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the service hour.
Barbara was known for her incredible kindness and a deep love for animals, dedicating her life to rescuing and fostering dogs. Her passion for her furry companions was a significant part of who she was. Additionally, she was a cherished member of White Oak Baptist Church.
Barbara is survived by her husband, David Shelton; her father-in-law, T.J. Shelton; her mother-in-law, Pat Glodowski; and her daughter, Danielle Crossley. She is also remembered by her in-laws, Rebecca (Roger) McBryar and Kevin (Pearl) Shelton, as well as her nieces and nephews, James Havlin, Tonya Havlin Bruce, Barry Havlin, and Darrell Cooper.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Irene King Havlin.
Barbara will be deeply missed by all who knew her and her legacy of love and compassion will live on in the lives she touched.
