The Dade County Wolverines, led by Head Coach Jeff Poston,dominated the Armuchee Indians with a final score of 28 to 7 on Friday evening. The win not only showcased the Wolverines’ skill on the field, but also punched their ticket to the State playoffs.
The Dade County Wolverines’ victory was all the more significant as it secured their place in the State playoffs. The Wolverines will be hosting their next playoff game. This opportunity arose thanks to the Trion Bulldogs’ triumph over the Darlington Tigers. The team will host round 1 of the GHSA state playoffs and face Mt. Pisgah Christian, #3 seed from Region 6A D-1.
