Cold weather is here again, Chief Meteorologist Patrick Core warned on Friday morning’s K-WIN Today program.
Beginning Friday evening, says Core; begin to expect colder air to rush from the north as the northern part of the Eastern Seaboard experiences blizzard-like conditions of up to 20-24 inches of snow. While our area won’t experience such conditions; expect scattered flurries in the higher elevations. According to Core, the story won’t be the snowfall so much as the temperature, as the valley experiences the coldest air front so far this winter season with wind chills possibly dipping temperatures below zero.
