TRENTON, Ga. — Dade County firefighters responded Monday afternoon to a blaze at a vacant home in the 200 block of Candy Lane.
Officials said the house—formerly the residence of once Dade County’s sole commissioner Dan O. Hall—was fully involved when crews arrived. A long driveway complicated water supply efforts as firefighters worked to get lines to the scene.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
