During the Trenton City Commission Meeting held 12/12, Mayor Case announced that the City of Trenton is listening to proposals from investors related to a restaurant-style micro-brewery or pub. The establishment, according to Ryan Faircloth and local investors, would not be a “honky-tonk” style bar, but appeal to a different clientele serving craft and local beers.
Mayor Case mentioned that there is an investigation into what would need to change in the Trenton charter in regards to zoning for a location like this. City Officials are looking to Lafayette, who is implementing a similar change, to follow legal suit.
