TRAFFIC UPDATE:
Good news for drivers in Dade County — I-59 Northbound at Exit 11 is now reopen to one lane after being shut down due to a sinkhole near the 14 mile marker.
Crews have been working around the clock to assess the damage and stabilize the roadway. While the interstate isn’t fully open yet, traffic is moving again in a single lane, which should ease some of the backups seen through Highway 11 and downtown Trenton.
Drivers are still encouraged to use caution through the area and expect some delays, especially during morning and evening rush.
