Elections were held yesterday, May 21st. The results of yesterday’s elections have brought a mix of familiar faces and new leadership to our local government and school board.

Winners were:

Don Townsend county Executive

Don Townsend wins County executive seat with out a run

County Commissioner melissa Bradford retained her seat for another 4 years

Retired General Bob Woods wins the other comission seat

On the school board 28 Veteran Carloyn Bradford looses her seat to challenger
Steve Forester

Jane Griffin also retained her seat on the Dade county Board of Education.
