Tenth grade students from Dade County recently joined nearly 1,000 teens from Walker and Catoosa Counties in participating in the “Your Choices Matter” experience, a program designed to help young people understand the impact of their decisions in real-life situations.
Held over the course of four days, the event engaged students in a series of scenario-based activities aimed at promoting safe, responsible decision-making. Participants were guided through interactive experiences that highlighted the potential consequences of their choices and encouraged thoughtful reflection on their future paths.
The program was made possible through the collaborative efforts of Dade First Family Connections along with numerous volunteers, schools, and community partners. Organizers worked together to create a supportive environment where students could learn, engage, and grow.
The event was celebrated as a meaningful opportunity to equip local teens with the tools they need to make informed decisions, helping to shape safer and more empowered communities across the tri-county area.
