Dade County, Ga. — May 25, 2025 — Severe storms swept through Dade County on Sunday evening, bringing strong winds and heavy rain that downed trees and some power lines across the area.

The early evening storms caused widespread power outages, with utility crews working through the region to restore service to affected neighborhoods. There were numerous instances of wind damage, particularly from fallen trees and utility poles across the region.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
