School Board Approves Personnel Changes; Superintendent Ingle Speaks on School Safety Measures

The Dade County Board of Education held their monthly scheduled meeting on Monday, June 25th. This was the last meeting of the Board of Education before the 2022-2023 school year starts.

During the meeting, each department gave an update to their plans and financials leading into the school year. You can watch the full meeting below.

After the meeting, the Board broke for an executive session, where the following personnel decisions were voted on and finalized:

The following day, Superintendent Josh Ingle made his weekly appearance on the K-WIN Today program to touch base with what is going on this school year, to speak about the safety initiatives that are being put in place for the upcoming school year, and to speak regarding the school system’s budget (apologies for the video issues, there was technical difficulties in the upload to Youtube):
