Sand mountain Man Killed, Two Injured in Head-On Crash Near Dutton
A Sand Mouintain man from Pisgah was killed and two people were injured in a two-vehicle wreck this week on AL-40 near Jackson County 418, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
ALEA officials said Timothy Bradford, 60, died at the scene after the 2006 Buick LaCrosse he was driving collided head-on with another vehicle. After impact, the Buick left the roadway and overturned into a ditch.
The driver and passenger in the other vehicle — Jesus Garcia, 59, and Norma Garcia, 55 — were transported to DeKalb Regional Medical Center for treatment. Their conditions were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation by ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division.
