The Dade County Board of Education has officially named Mrs. Rhonda Bradford as the next principal of Dade Middle School, following a unanimous vote of approval and recommendation by Superintendent Josh Ingle. Her appointment will take effect with the start of the 2025–2026 school year.
A lifelong resident of Dade County and a graduate of its public school system, Mrs. Bradford brings a strong sense of community and continuity to her new role. She currently serves as the Assistant Principal of Dade Middle School, a position she began during the 2023–2024 academic year.
Bradford’s roots in the Dade County School System run deep. She attended Davis Elementary, Dade Middle School, and Dade County High School before pursuing higher education. She earned her Master’s Degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and later received an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree from Lincoln Memorial University.
Since joining the Dade County School System in 2004, Bradford has served in multiple capacities, including as a PE and Health teacher at Davis Elementary and coach for volleyball, cross country, and track and field. Her leadership journey culminated in her appointment as assistant principal in March 2023, positioning her well for the next step in her career.
“Mrs. Bradford’s experience, leadership, and commitment to student achievement make her the right person to lead Dade Middle School into the future,” said Superintendent Ingle.
