This Wednesday morning during his daily weather segment on the K-WIN Today program, Patrick Core stressed that we are in the middle of the ‘longest week of the year’ in terms of sunlight. And it feels extra long as the record-high heats continue.

This Wednesday continues with highs into the mid-upper-90s and a heat index of well over 100; however the end of the day may bring showers to the area; possibly cooling the evening. Thursday will be dry and just as hot; with Friday bringing a possible “not-so-warm” front and bringing the temperature down.

The weekend humidity will come down, so the temperatures will not feel as hot.
