Overnight Chase Ends in Crash — One Suspect in Custody
One person is in custody after an overnight police chase that crossed state lines and ended in a crash along Highway 41 in Marion County.
Authorities say a Dade County Sheriff’s cruiser was struck and damaged during the pursuit, which continued into Tennessee early this morning. The suspect’s vehicle ultimately crashed in Jasper just before 12:30 a.m., where the driver was taken into custody.
