Over 2,000 Ballots Cast in Dade with One Day of Early Voting Left

Early Voting for the State and Presidential Primary is set to end Friday, June 5, so Dade County voters have one more day to vote early.  Tomorrow at 2 p.m. Early Voting will end in the meeting room of the Dade County Administration

building.

As of 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, the elections office reported they had received 38 Non-partisan ballots, 271 Democratic ballots, and 1,043 Republican ballots by mail in.  In person voters total one Non-partisan, 20 Democrats, and 887 Republicans for a total of 2,260 total ballots cast. 

If you miss early voting, and are a registered voter, you can still vote in your precinct on Election Day.  Polls in the county districts will be open on Tuesday, June 9 from 7 am to 7 pm. Mail in ballots have until Tuesday, June 9 at 7 p.m. to be in or you can drop your mail in ballot in the drop box in front of the county administration building at any time prior to 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
