November’s regularly scheduled meeting of the Trenton City Commission was held on Monday, November 14th, 2022.
During the meeting, SPLOST funds were approved for a deputy clerk desk, as well as street department maintenance equipment. The City has accepted bids for the maintenance equipment.
LOST negotiation between the City of Trenton and Dade County will remain at an 80/20 split between the county and city.
The City of Trenton approved the Service Delivery Strategy from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.
Caroline Bello presented to the City a petition and information related to placing a SAFE HAVEN baby box within the City limits. This box would give mothers in crisis a place to safely surrender their baby with anonymity.
