Man Charged with Kidnapping, Solicitation of a Child in DeKalb County
DEKALB COUNTY, Ala. — A man was arrested on Valentine’s Day in DeKalb County on charges of kidnapping and electronic solicitation of a child, according to court documents.
Authorities say Angel Gabriel Contreras Rosas allegedly used Snapchat on February 14 to contact a juvenile victim. Investigators claim Rosas coordinated to pick up the juvenile from her home and transported her to a concealed parking lot.
Details regarding how the situation was discovered have not been released.
Rosas is currently being held on a $30,000 bond, according to court records.
The case remains under investigation.
