Local Candidate Debate Held in Dade County; Replay Available Online
TRENTON, GA — Voters in Dade County got a firsthand look at local most candidates this weekend as a community debate brought issues and ideas front and center ahead of the upcoming election.
The event was held Saturday, May 2, at the Dade County Public Library and was co-hosted by DiscoverDade and K-WIN Radio.
Candidates for local offices participated in the forum, outlining their priorities and responding to questions submitted by the public. Organizers say the goal of the debate was to give voters a clearer understanding of each candidate’s positions as early voting continues across the county.
The debate was moderated by Logan Dubel of Local 3 News, who guided the discussion through a range of topics impacting the community.
