Lady Wolverines Punch Ticket to the Elite Eight with 10–7 Win Over Lamar County
TRENTON, Ga. — The Dade County High School Lady Wolverines Softball Team is headed to Columbus after clinching a spot in the Elite Eight of the GHSA State Playoffs with a thrilling 10–7 victory over Lamar County.
In a hard-fought match-up, the Lady Wolverines battled through the best of 2 out of 3 after splitting the first 2 to secure the series win and move one step closer to a state title.
The win sends Dade County back to Columbus, where the state’s top eight teams will compete for the GHSA State Championship next week.
