Lady Wolverines Alumni Night Set for Jan. 5 — Coach Gene Durden to Appear
TRENTON, Ga. — Dade County Schools will host Lady Wolverines Alumni Night on Monday, January 5, 2026, celebrating former Lady Wolverine athletes with a special appearance by longtime coach Gene Durden.
During his 14-year tenure at Dade, Coach Gene Durden led the Lady Wolverines to an extraordinary run of success. Under his leadership, the program captured seven Region Championships, advanced to 13 Class AA State Tournament appearances, reached the Final Four three times, and competed in three Class AA State Championship games. The Lady Wolverines posted an impressive 333–88 overall record during Durden’s time at the helm, cementing his legacy as one of the most successful coaches in program history.
The event begins at 7:00 p.m., with all former Lady Wolverine athletes invited to attend.
Alumni recognition will take place immediately following the varsity girls’ game. In addition, light refreshments will be available beginning at 5:30 p.m. for all Lady Wolverine graduates.
Dade County Schools encourages alumni to come out, reconnect, and support today’s Lady Wolverines during a memorable night of Wolverine pride.
