The fire is located in the vicinity of Murphy Hollow Road, the springs, and the North Point Hunting Club on the side of Lawson Mountain. This incident is expected to result in increased smoke in the area of I-59 around the split and Slygo Road. Murphy’s Hollow Road is currently closed to through traffic due to the fire.
