Flat Rock Man Arrested on Firearms and Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop

FLAT ROCK, Ala. — A traffic stop in Flat Rock on October 13, 2025, led to the arrest of a local man on multiple charges, including firearm and drug offenses.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy stopped a vehicle on Highway 117 after learning the driver had an outstanding probation warrant. During the arrest, the deputy discovered a firearm on the suspect and two additional firearms inside the vehicle.

Investigators say the driver, Patrick Blake Roberts, 36, of Flat Rock, is prohibited from possessing firearms due to prior criminal convictions. Deputies also located drug paraphernalia during the search.

Roberts was taken into custody and charged with Certain Persons Forbidden from Possessing Firearms, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Violation of Probation. He is currently being held at the Jackson County Jail without bond.
