July the 4th is coming up in less than two weeks and, as is tradition, there will be fireworks aplenty! We’ve gathered together a list of local fireworks shows so that your family can find the most convenient location to go watch.
Dade County, Georgia:
- New Salem Fire Department will have a celebration on TOMORROW (July 1) at 12477 Highway 135 in Rising Fawn. BBQ will be served at noon and entertainment will begin at 6 p.m. Fireworks will begin around 9:30 p.m.
Trenton, Georgia:
- The 1945 Fair will take place at Jenkins Park in Trenton, Georgia. The fair will feature live music. It will start at 12 p.m. on July 4 and will end at 11 p.m. Fireworks begin at 10 p.m.
Rising Fawn, Georgia:
- This event will take place at the McLemore Club, located at 32 Clubhouse Lane. The club will host a celebration on July 1 starting at 5 p.m., with the fireworks show beginning at 8:45 p.m.
Chickamauga, Georgia:
- The City of Chickamauga will host their first ever 4th of July celebration on July 1st from noon until 10 p.m. It will include a concert, which will be followed by fireworks.
Lafayette, Georgia:
- Lafayette will hold their “Freedom Festival” on Friday, June 30. It will start at 5 p.m. at the Ross Abney Complex. Fireworks begin around 10 p.m.
Rock Spring, Georgia:
- Peavine Baptist Church will host their freedom celebration on Sunday, July 2, starting at 4 p.m. Fireworks will be launched at dark.
Rossville, Georgia:
- Lake Winnepesaukah will hold their fireworks display on July 4, at 10 p.m.
Summerville, Georgia:
- Chattooga County Agricultural Center festivities will take place on June 30th, starting at 5:30 p.m. featuring a cornhole tournament and waterslides. Fireworks will begin at 10 p.m.
Chattanooga, Tennessee:
- The Chattanooga Lookouts will have a fireworks show after their games against The Tennessee Smokies on both June 30 and July 3. The game will begin at 7:15 on Friday and at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
- The Graceworks Church at 6445 Lee Highway, July 2 at 9 p.m.
- “Fun on the Fourth” festivities at Miller Park will kick off at 2 p.m. No fireworks, but instead it will feature a laser light show, beginning at 9:30 p.m.
Signal Mountain, Tennessee:
- Signal Mountain Lions Club, an Independence Day event will be July 4, starting at 9 a.m. It will include a parade, fireworks and more.
South Pittsburg, Tennessee:
- Stage on Cedar, Independence Day celebrations will be July 4 from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with fireworks to follow.
Jackson County, Alabama:
- The Goose Pond Colony fireworks show on July 4 with live music begins at 6 p.m. and fireworks begin at 9 p.m.
Rainsville, Alabama:
- This “Freedom Fest” takes place June 24 at Rainsville City Park. Events begin at 1 p.m. and fireworks launch at 9 p.m.
