Family Dog Saved by Trenton-Dade Firefighters

A family pet was rescued from a house fire early Sunday morning by Trenton-Dade Firefighters.

The fire department was dispatched to a fire on Pace Street near Killian Avenue just before 2:30 am on January 3.  The family was out of the residence but missing their family pet. Firefighters Alex Jones and Shan Anderson searched the home for the missing pet and was able to locate and save the dog.

The fire was contained to two rooms and extinguished with the additional assistance of Davis and West Brow Fire Departments. Cause of the fire is still under investigation.
