A survival show is being filmed in Dade County by the Discovery Channel.
Economic Development Director William Back shared during the September County Commission meeting that a remote area in Dade County was being used to film a reality show.
Back said you might not think of the wilderness when you think of Dade County but if you look at a map there is a small area with no roads and that is where the show is being filmed.
Back also shared that they had killed some rattlesnakes, some before filming began and two after filming became dinner.
Back said the county is talking to film people about doing more work in Dade County.
