A DeKalb County corrections officer has been arrested following an internal investigation conducted by the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities confirmed on August 27 that one jail employee had been arrested and another terminated as a result of the investigation. On August 28, officials identified the arrested employee as corrections officer Evan Blayne Wilborn.
Wilborn is facing six counts of voyeurism. Details about the alleged incidents have not yet been released.
The sheriff’s office said the investigation remains active and ongoing. Officials also noted that additional charges and arrests may be forthcoming.
No further information about the terminated employee has been made public at this time.
