DMS FIELD DAY A SUCCESS

Dade Middle School held their PBIS field day event last week and the weather was perfect! DMS Principal, Ms. Michelle Beeler would like to thank the staff and other volunteers for creating such a wonderful event for the students!  #TeamDadeGa

DCHS THEATRE PRESENTS MEAN GIRLS JR.

The DCHS Theatre Students, led by Ms. Jessica Wilson, presented their spring performance over the weekend, Mean Girls Jr. The students did an outstanding job and Ms. Wilson would like to thank all of those that were able to attend!    #TeamDadeGa

CRISP APPOINTED TO VACANT BOARD SEAT

In a special-called board meeting last Monday, May 13th, the Dade County Board of Education voted unanimously to appoint Jason Crisp to the District 1, vacant board seat. Crisp is no stranger to Dade County! He is a 1998 graduate of Dade County High School and is currently employed with the Southeast Lineman Training Center. He is the husband to Brittany and the father to Vayda (6th grade), and Ida (4th grade), and they currently reside in the Wildwood. When asked about serving on the board of education, Crisp stated “I am looking forward to working with the current board of members. I know that there is a lot of information that I will need to learn, but I am here to help serve the students of Dade County Schools. I would also like to thank the board members for their vote of confidence and for selecting me to fill the vacant board seat.” Dade County Schools Superintendent stated “I am thankful that the board members worked collaboratively to fill the vacancy and I am looking forward to working with Mr. Crisp and other members of the board. I am confident that Jason will bring some great ideas to the table and that he will be a valuable member of the TEAM. I have communicated with Judge Kerri Carter and we are hopeful that he can be sworn in before the June 24th board meeting. Welcome aboard Mr. Jason Crisp!” #TeamDadeGa

ALL REGION WOMENS SOCCER

Congratulations to Anna Ballard, Oli Conrad, Lila Evearitt, Madeline Jelley, and Maddie Cuzzort for scoring All-Region Honors in soccer! Ballard, Conrad, and Evearitt were named to the All-Region 1st Team! Jelley landed on the All-Region 2nd Team and Cuzzort made Honorable Mention. The Region 7-A, D1 coaches voted these young ladies to the 2024 All-Region Teams. Well done, ladies!  #TeamDadeGa

ALL REGION MENS SOCCER

Congratulations to Chase Mayo and Hudson Roberts! The Region 7-A, D1 coaches voted these young men to the 2024 All-Region Team. Chase Mayo earned first-team honors for his work in the midfield, and Hudson Roberts earned second-team honors for his work between the sticks. Well done, gentlemen! #TeamDadeGa

The Dade County Board of Education will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting, this evening, May 20, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Dade County Board of Education building located at 52 Tradition Lane Trenton, GA. 30752.
