DES FIELD DAY A SUCCESS

Dade Elementary School held their annual field day event on Friday. The weather was beautiful, unlike the day before, and the kids had so much fun! DES Principal, Ms. Melissa Valtierra would like to thank Coach Justin Page and Coach Andy Williams for organizing a successful event! DMS 8th GRADE DANCE A SUCCESSFUL EVENT

Dade Middle School held their annual eighth-grade dance last weekend and the 2024 theme was ‘A Night In New York.’ Ms. Beeler and Ms. Bradford extend a SPECIAL THANKS to the parent volunteers who assisted with the event!   #TeamDadeGa

DCHS STUDENTS RECOGNIZED AT LOOKOUTS GAME

These DCHS students were recently recognized as “most improved” at the Chattanooga Lookouts game. CONGRATULATIONS to these students on their academic achievements!   #TeamDadeGa

A NIGHT AT THE MOVIES

The Davis Elementary Chorus was in action last week and presented “A Night At The Movies!” The students were very engaged and did a fantastic job with the performance! The future vocals for Dade Middle and Dade High sound promising! The Davis Chorus is led by Ms. Jessica Howard and Ms. Brandi Steele!  #TeamDadeGa

THE STARTER, HURDLER, DRIFTER & ANCHOR

CONGRATULATIONS to these four DCHS Track & Field athletes for qualifying for the GHSA 4 X 200 race. They competed this past Saturday at Barron Stadium in Rome, GA, and finished 8th place with a time of 1:32.25. In addition, Jace Anderson finished 5th in the 300-meter hurdle race with a personal record time of 39.36. CONGRATULATIONS ON A JOB WELL DONE, DADE COUNTY IS PROUD OF YOU! DCHS GOLFERS QUALIFY FOR STATE

The DCHS boys golf team recently qualified for the state tournament shooting a 376 at Meadow Lake Golf Course in Rome, GA. The Wolverines were led by Mason Weathers who shot an 80. Lucas Weathers shot a 96, Kooper Knight shot a 99, Ethan Williams shot a 101, Heath Walthers shot a 106, and Eli Ryan shot a 116. The Wolverines will represent DCHS at the state tournament Monday, May 20, and Tuesday, May 21 in Statesboro, GA. We wish them the best of luck!   #TeamDadeGa

The Dade County Board of Education will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Monday, May 20, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Dade County Board of Education building located at 52 Tradition Lane Trenton, GA. 30752.
