Superintendent Josh Ingle of the Dade County School System made his weekly appearance on Tuesday’s edition of the K-WIN Today morning program.
Ingle announced that the Board of Education had begun seeking proposals from general contractors to expand Davis Elementary. At 5491 HWY 301, Davis Elementary will be constructing a new “Rock Building” which, according to Ingle will hold 5 classrooms and be about 9000 sq ft in total. One of the classrooms will be larger than the others, as it will be a “music room.”
Any contractor intending to submit a proposal will be required to attend a Pre-Proposal Meeting on September 13th, 2022 at 10 AM, and tardiness will exclude them from the meeting.
Below is the Request for Proposal on the Dade County Board of Education website, and the video of Superintendent Ingle’s interview on the K-WIN Today Program.
