Dade school board to spotlight internet safety, E-SPLOST video, and “State of Schools” reports at next meeting

TRENTON, Ga. — The Dade County Board of Education will take up a full agenda at its next public meeting, featuring campus “State of Schools” updates, an internet-safety briefing tied to SB 351 and the Parent ProTech program, and an upcoming informational video on the E-SPLOST referendum.
The meeting opens with the invocation and Pledge of Allegiance before routine actions to adopt the agenda and approve minutes. The Superintendent’s Report will recognize the district’s September Character Award: “Respectful,” followed by items on:
Internet Safety Update — SB 351 / Parent ProTech: A look at free tools available to families to help manage apps, privacy settings, and online risks.
DCHS College Probe Fair: Details on the high school’s college-planning event.
E-SPLOST Referendum: An informational video is in production and will be released soon.
State of Schools: Presentations from Dade Elementary, Davis Elementary, Dade Middle, and Dade High on academics, operations, and goals.
