Dade County’s very first Kid’s Day is coming up on July 27 10-2. Dade First Collaborative is so excited to help organize this and are still looking for donations, booths, or anyone who would like to help in any way. We will have free food boxes, free haircuts, free supplies, door prizes and I think it’s going to be a lot of fun! Below is a list of organizations that we have been in contact with that are going to host a booth to hand out a school supply and/or resource info about their organization. If your program, business, church, agency, etc would like to participate and are not on that list, please email me or call me at 423-762-9359 (Also, if you told me you’d like to do a booth, but you aren’t on that list please email or call me!!). Booths will be set up INSIDE Dade Co High School and you’d need to bring a table and whatever you’d like to hand out as well as any chairs or decorations you’d like. Participating groups can set up the day before or the morning of the event. This is something that we’d like to do every year and see it grow and improve over time. We are so, so thankful for everyone who is helping us, even if it is just helping us get the word out!!
