Dade County to See 7.13% Growth in Tax Revenue Without Millage Rate Increase
Dade County, GA – Dade County is set to collect $368,091 more in property tax revenue this year, reflecting a 7.13% growth rate in the county’s tax digest.
Despite the increase in collections, the millage rate will remain unchanged at 7.7500. County officials say the higher revenue is the result of increased property values and growth in the county’s tax base, not a rate hike.
The county has also released the five-year history of the Dade County tax digest, providing a public record of changes in assessed values, millage rates, and total taxes levied.
