Dade County officials are seeking public feedback as they explore the possibility of bringing a glass recycling program to the community.
County leaders are considering offering glass recycling through the Trenton drop-off center and are asking residents to help gauge interest before moving forward with the initiative.
In a public announcement, county officials encouraged residents who would like to see a local glass recycling option to complete a short interest survey. The feedback gathered will be used to evaluate community demand and help guide future recycling opportunities in Dade County.
Glass recycling is not currently available through county recycling services, but officials say community input will play an important role in determining whether the program is feasible.
Residents interested in participating in the survey can complete the online form at:

For additional information or to provide comments regarding the proposed program, residents may contact Commissioner Melissa Bradford at 423-413-0245 or by email at [email protected].
County officials say they appreciate public participation as they continue evaluating ways to expand recycling services and environmental sustainability efforts throughout Dade County.
