Dade County Schools to Operate on Two-Hour Delay Monday, February 2
DADE COUNTY, Ga. — Dade County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay on Monday, February 2, 2026, due to weather conditions impacting the area.
School officials have released specific bus pickup information for several communities. Parents and students are encouraged to review the details carefully.
Bus Pickup Information
Head River Community

Bus 22-2
Students will meet at the old Massey’s Convenience Store on Highway 157 between 8:40 a.m. and 8:50 a.m.
West Brow Community

Bus 19-4 and Bus 21-3
Students will meet at the West Brow Community Center between 8:55 a.m. and 9:05 a.m.
Students who live on Scenic Highway will be picked up by either bus.
New Home Community

Bus 21-2 and Bus 22-1
Students will meet at the old New Home Store between 8:55 a.m. and 9:05 a.m., at the intersection of New Home Road and New Home Loop.
Students who live on Wells Road will be picked up while buses are en route to the New Home Store around 8:45 a.m.
School officials remind families to use caution while traveling and to continue monitoring official school and district communication channels for any additional updates.
