Dade County Schools Releases 2026-2027 Vacation Planner

TRENTON, Ga. — Even though summer break is just getting started, Dade County Schools is already helping families prepare for the upcoming academic year.

The school system has released its 2026-2027 Vacation Planner, giving parents and students an opportunity to begin planning vacations, appointments, and other family activities around the school calendar.

In announcing the planner, district officials wished students and staff a happy summer break and encouraged families to enjoy the time off while using the calendar to prepare for the year ahead.

School leaders say the vacation planner is designed to help families schedule trips during school breaks whenever possible, supporting the district’s ongoing efforts to improve student attendance throughout the school year.

The planner includes scheduled holidays, fall and spring breaks, and other days when classes will not be in session.
