Dear Dade County Families,
While the vast majority of the main roadways are clear and passable, several of the secondary roads on Lookout Mountain and Sand Mountain are still not ready for school bus traffic. Therefore, Dade County Schools will be CLOSED on Monday, January 13th, 2025. We will make a decision about school operations for Tuesday sometime after lunch on Monday.
Thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we prioritize the safety and well-being of our school community.
We would like to give a BIG “shout-out” to Dade County Public Works, Dade County EMA, the Dade County Sheriff’s Office, and the Trenton Police Department for their hard work and ongoing communication!
