A Dade County man who had been reported missing earlier this week has been found dead, according to the Dade County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities say Darvin York, 61, was located deceased. His cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
The Dade County Coroner’s Office and the Sheriff’s Office are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.
York had previously been reported missing after he was last seen around 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17, at his home in Trenton. At the time, officials said he was believed to be driving a pewter or silver Chevrolet Silverado Z71 pickup truck. He was described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 210 pounds.
No additional details have been released as the investigation remains ongoing.
Authorities have not said when or where York was found.
