Dade County Man Dies Following Injuries Sustained in Sand Mountain Crash
TRENTON, Ga. — A Dade County man has died from injuries he sustained in an motorcycle accident on the side of Sand Mountain earlier this month.
Mitchel Ford 73 was seriously injured in a crash on Highway 136 West on Monday June 15 while traveling up Sand Mountain. Following the accident, Ford was transported from the scene by Life Force air medical helicopter for treatment of his injuries.
Ford passed away on Sunday, June 21, as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
The accident was investigated by the Georgia State Patrol
