The Dade County Fishing Team is now accepting registrations for the upcoming season, giving local students in grades 6–12 the opportunity to get out on the water and compete.
The registration deadline is Sunday, October 5, 2025, with late sign-ups accepted through October 24, 2025. A $200 registration fee is required, and participants must have access to a bass boat or partner with someone who does.
Organizers say the team provides students with valuable outdoor experiences, teamwork opportunities, and a chance to represent Dade County in fishing competitions.
“We’re excited to welcome new members this season,” said coordinator Bonnie Harris, who is handling registration forms and additional information.
