Dade County Executive, Ted Rumley, made an appearance on the KWN Morning News Segment on Thursday Morning. The FY-2023 budget which will take effect on the 1st of July. Residents will have until the 26th of June to appeal their property appraisals. Hearings for the millage rates will take place the first week of July. Rumley also gave an update on two building projects: the new Voter Registration building and animal shelter. Both of these projects have been set back by the copious amount of rain we’ve received this week, but the county aims to get them built as quickly as possible with the Voter Registration building taking precedence.
