Dade County Commissioners to Address SPLOST, Board Appointments, EMS Contract at Workshop Meeting
The Dade County Board of Commissioners will hold a workshop meeting Monday, February 5, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at Dade County Administration, where commissioners are set to review a wide-ranging agenda that includes board appointments, SPLOST matters, financial reports, and emergency services.
Among the items scheduled for discussion are several proclamations, including:

Commissioners will also review several grant and public safety items, including:

An Agriculture Rural Development Community Facilities Grant for ambulance replacement

In addition, the board will discuss proposed amendments to the county’s solar power generation ordinance and consider a moratorium on solar permitting.
The workshop meeting is open to the public and will be streamed in accordance with Georgia’s Open Meetings Act.
Dade County Commissioners to Hear Reports, Presentations at Regular Monthly Meeting
The Dade County Board of Commissioners will hold its regular monthly meeting Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., with a full agenda that includes department reports, community presentations, fiscal matters, and consideration of items from the workshop agenda.
The meeting will begin with a call to order, followed by the invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.
During the Point of Personal Privilege, county commissioners will present district reports, providing updates on issues impacting their respective areas.
