Dade County, City of Trenton Seek Public Input on Ten-Year Comprehensive Plan

Dade County residents are being asked to help shape the future of their community as local officials begin updating the 2026 Trenton and Dade County Ten-Year Comprehensive Plan.

Dade County and the City of Trenton have launched a public survey to gather input from residents about their priorities and concerns as officials plan for the community’s future.

The survey covers several areas important to future growth and development, including housing, transportation, economic development, infrastructure, parks and community character.

Officials say the survey should take approximately five minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary and completely anonymous, and individual responses will not be shared.

Instead, responses will be combined and used to help inform the Comprehensive Plan and guide future planning decisions for both Dade County and the City of Trenton.

Officials are encouraging participation from residents across the county and are asking those who complete the survey to share it with friends, family and neighbors.

“The more voices we hear from across our community, the better we can plan for Dade County’s future,” officials said in announcing the survey.

The survey will only remain open for a limited time, and residents are encouraged to participate as soon as possible.
