Dade County Breaks Ground on New Elections Building in Trenton

TRENTON, Ga. — The Dade County Board of Commissioners held a groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday afternoon for the county’s new Elections Building on Georgia Avenue in Trenton.

County commissioners were joined by members of the Dade County Board of Elections, local officials, and community leaders to mark the start of construction on the purpose-built facility.

The new Elections Building will serve as the permanent home for Dade County’s elections operations. The facility is designed to provide dedicated space for election equipment storage, administrative offices, poll worker training, and other essential functions related to conducting local, state, and federal elections.
