According to an official notice released by election officials, the recount is scheduled for today Wednesday, May 27, at 10:00 a.m. at the Dade County Board of Elections Office located at 71 Case Avenue in Trenton.

The District 1 Commission race remains extremely close, with unofficial Election Day results showing Jane Dixon holding a narrow two-vote lead over candidate Gene McBryar, 467 to 465. Candidate Robby Ryan received the highest number of votes overall in the contest with 577 votes.
