During the final week of the school year, the Dade County Board of Education’s monthly meeting this Monday was focused mainly on end-of-year activities and summaries. After the senior walk, and preparing for graduation, the School Board is looking to transition through the summer of 2022.
Each school presented their end-of-year reports, focusing on how their school grew in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Also present were the various clubs that students participate in throughout the year with summaries of their works.
During the meeting, Shenea Hill read a letter from the NASA HUNCH program, certifying Dade County as the first NASA HUNCH Center of Excellence:
