In Dade County Commission Special Called Meeting, the Dade County Commission held public hearings to allow for public discussion of the millage rate. They discussed the breakdown of the property tax assessments and exemptions, as well as the gross and net digest values for the county. They also explained the rollbacks in Georgia that affect the millage rate and mentioned the real growth in the county.
The final public hearing will be Thursday, August 17th.
