Georgia Governor Brian Kemp went on a tour of Georgia encouraging Georgians to wear masks, but has stood strong on not mandating masks be worn by people in public throughout the state.  As businesses throughout the United States make it a policy that masks be worn while visiting those businesses for the safety of their staff and customers, some businesses in Dade will be included as well.

On Thursday, July 23, Food City in Trenton will be requiring everyone visiting the store to wear a mask. CVS will require masks as of Monday, July 20, and Ingles as of Tuesday, July 21.

Other large chain businesses that are requiring masks for those visiting their locations include Aldi (July 27), Best Buy (now), Costco (now), Home Depot (July 22), Kohl’s (July 20), Lowe’s (July 20), Publix (July 21), Starbucks (now), Target (Aug. 1), Walmart/Sam’s Club (July 20), and Whole Foods (July 20).
