“Coffee Talk with the Commission” Continues Tuesday at Historic Courthouse

TRENTON, GA — Dade County residents will have another chance to meet with local leaders Tuesday morning during the weekly “Coffee Talk with the Commission” at the Historic Dade County Courthouse.

The informal community meeting will take place from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. and is open to the public.

Hosted by the Dade County Board of Commissioners, the weekly gathering provides residents with an opportunity to ask questions, learn more about county operations, and speak directly with commissioners and county staff.

Commission Chairman Don Townsend has said the purpose of the meetings is to promote open communication and provide clear information about county issues — especially as the SPLOST (Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax) renewal approaches on the May ballot.

Recent meetings have included discussions about how SPLOST funding has been used in the past and how it could impact future projects across the county.

County officials encourage residents to attend, ask questions, and stay informed about ongoing projects and future plans for the community.

“Coffee Talk with the Commission” is held each Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the Historic Dade County Courthouse.

For more information, residents may contact the Dade County Administrative Office at 706-657-4625.
