City of Trenton to Hold Workshop and Regular Monthly Meeting February 9

TRENTON, Ga. — The City of Trenton will hold its workshop and regular monthly meeting on Monday, February 9, 2026, beginning at 6 p.m. at Trenton City Hall, located at 12882 North Main Street.

Workshop Agenda

The meeting will begin with a workshop session that includes:

• Approval of the agenda

• Approval of previous meeting minutes

• Board appointments and proclamations, including:

  • Reappointment of Eddie Cantrell to the Trenton–Dade Water and Sewer Board

  • Arbor Day Proclamation

• Approval of SPLOST and capital equipment items

• Consideration of an intergovernmental agreement for the 2027 continuation of SPLOST

• A presentation from Wesley Bethune, Chairperson of the Downtown Development Authority, who will speak on local incentives for new and existing businesses within downtown development

Regular Meeting Agenda

Following the workshop, the City of Trenton will conduct its regular monthly meeting, which includes:

• Call to order by Mayor Joseph A. Case

• Invocation

• Pledge of Allegiance

• Commissioners roll call

• Departmental reports from:

  • Police Department
