TRENTON, GA — The City of Trenton is now accepting applications for a part-time position within its Public Works Department.
The role will primarily involve outdoor maintenance work, including mowing and weeding sidewalks, brush pickup, roadway repair, and ditch cleanup. According to the city, applicants should be prepared for a physically demanding job that requires significant manual labor.
To qualify, candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, possess a valid driver’s license, and be able to pass both a background check and a drug screening.
The part-time position will be limited to no more than 30 hours per week, with hourly pay ranging from $16 to $18, depending on experience.
Interested individuals may pick up an application at Trenton City Hall, located at 12882 North Main Street, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Applications will be accepted through October 31.
